Hello! I'm Jaime, the founder of Little Sammy's. My climbing journey began in early 2023, and like many climbers, I was soon grappling with a familiar issue – severely chapped, damaged hands and flappers. Initially, I relied on the classic approach of using tape to protect the raw areas, but it wasn't long before I started exploring alternative solutions. The hunt for an effective climbing skincare product revealed a surprising gap in the market: few options were vegan-friendly, and many were laden with unnatural ingredients.

As a committed vegan for over eight years, I was determined to find a skincare solution that not only worked but also aligned with my values. I experimented with various non-climbing balms and lotions, but none fully met my needs. This challenge sparked an idea: why not create a natural, vegan-friendly balm tailored specifically for climbers? And so began my journey of research and experimentation, leading to the birth of Little Sammy's, named affectionately after my loyal four-legged climbing buddy, Sammy.

The initial response from friends, family, and the local climbing community was incredibly encouraging. It was clear that Little Sammy's was not just a personal project but something that resonated with the wider community.

Our signature products, the Climbers Balm and Healing Hand Balm, were born from this journey. Both share a common formulation but have a unique aesthetic to cater to the diverse needs of climbers and anyone seeking quality, natural skincare. Little Sammy's has been pivotal in my skin's recovery and ongoing care, and I'm excited to share this benefit with others.
